Got the results of
my CT Scan today. Doc said we had mixed results from the recent chemo drugs.
Some small suspect areas are gone or were reduced in size while the main small
tumor in my left jaw grew a little. She is sending back to the Rio Grande
Valley with orders for my oncologist to try one of the older drugs plus a new
one. and we will follow up in 3 months with another CT scan .
I let the pain management Doc do a surgery procedure on my jaw using Radio
Frequency to make a jaw nerve stop hurting. Plus he injected some pain
killers. Seems like it helped a little. We will see.
We ar both glad that MD Anderson experts are there for us but we are glad
to be out of that atmosphere with about 10000 cancer paitients a day visiting
the facility. They are so busy. we actually waited 3 hours after getting into the
exam room to see my oncologist.
Thanks for the prayers, they really help
