I received these survey results from EAA national about our chapter 493 and EAA national.
I'll bring copies to the Aug meeting.

Dear Chapter Leader,
Thank you for taking part in and helping us spread the word about the chapter member survey. This survey has helped us gain tremendous insight into our chapters and the members who interact with
them. These results will help us better serve our chapter leaders and chapter members through leadership training and program development.
More important than the insight gained at EAA HQ,
this survey will offer you as a chapter leader an incredible opportunity to help better your chapter. Whether it is learning about what programs your members want more of or how current programs can be tweaked, you are sure to gain a handful of takeaways
from this survey.
Reading your Results
Chapter Member Survey Summary- This summary will cover the aggregate results of all respondents and a breakdown of what the overall results looked like. This includes a summary of responses
to open-ended questions and a breakdown of numerical responses. Interpretation of the results and takeaways for your chapter are included. Additionally, you can compare your individual chapter results to this aggregate report.
Individuals Chapter Results- These are the direct results for your chapter. The results are displayed in the attached excel spreadsheet, which consists of two worksheets. One sheet contains
the responses of current members and the other contains the responses from former members.
To consider your results accurate, you should have received a response from at least 25% of your chapter membership and at least 10 members.
All questions that were asked which required a response on a sliding scale were assigned a numerical value.
For example- Q: Are you satisfied with your chapter’s regular meetings? (Scale of 1-5)
Very Satisfied = 5, Satisfied = 4, Somewhat Satisfied = 3, Not Satisfied = 2, Not Satisfied At All =1
Questions that were answered with a numerical value are averaged at the bottom of that respective column. This will make for an easy comparison to the aggregate results.
All results were separated out and organized manually, so if you believe there is a mistake with your results please contact David Leiting at
dleiting [at] eaa.org.
