I put a Concorde battery in my old Cherokee and it was four years old when it went down in Corsicana. The new Cherokee has a Concorde and it is almost five years old. I do a full discharge capacity test on it at every annual and it is just as good as new, so far. The battery box stays clean as a whistle between annuals. I vote for the Concorde. They do warn that you should not use your old car charger to ensure longevity and I would check your alternator voltage to make sure it does not get over or under charged in the plane. That's my experience up to now. LeRoy Sent from my iPad
