I put a Concorde battery in my old Cherokee and it was four years old when it went down in Corsicana.  The new Cherokee has a Concorde and it is almost five years old.  I do a full discharge capacity test on it at every annual and it is just as good as new, so far.  The battery box stays clean as a whistle between annuals.  I vote for the Concorde.  They do warn that you should not use your old car charger to ensure longevity and I would check your alternator voltage to make sure it does not get over or under charged in the plane.  That's my experience up to now.

The Aviation Consumer article found that in their testing that the Concorde battery was more robust, holding up well to abuse like overcharging, and actually improved its capacity as it went through charging cycles.  Some owners did have Concorde batteries fail in less than 2 years (around 22%) while Gill battery owners had a failure rate of 78% in less than 2 years.

Gill used to be the standard in wet cell batteries and those batteries still hold up well if you can stand replacing battery boxes every time one spills sulfuric acid.
