Hi Everybody, Just wanted to let you know that Joe has not been able to be taken up to rehab yet, he has had some more problems. He has had some problems being constipated, they never put him on a laxative after his surgery, which they are supposed to do, because of all the medications they give you for surgery will bound a person up. So yesterday, he had a terrible day, because of that. Yesterday they took an Xray of his stomach to make sure he didn’t have an obstruction of the bowels, and today, they did an MIR of his pelvic, because the Dr. said sometimes when they fall they can damage their pelvic along with breaking their hip. We finally got both test back, and everything was okay. He has had the hiccups for 2 or 3 days like he had in Texas this Winter, he had them day and night for 2 weeks. So he has vomited 2 nights in a row, so they have put him on a liquid diet. So I told them about the medication the Gastrologist in TX. put him on, I have some samples left from then, so they wanted me to bring them down this morning, and they started giving it to him today. I think that is why he was vomiting, that’s what happened in TX. because the hiccups gets your stomach upset, and ends up giving you acid reflex. So I think the medication was helping already tonight. Tomorrow, they want to do a gastrology test, go down his throat with a camera and check that out. Of course, he will have to be put under for that test. He was supposed to be moved up to rehab today, but because of all these problems, it didn’t happen, so hopefully he can be moved up to rehab in a day or two. They have ran about every test on him there is. I am praying that things start getting better for him, if there was anything that could go wrong, it seems like they are going wrong for Joe. It’s got to start getting better real soon. We want to thank all of you, for your prayers, phone calls, cards, and concerns. We really appreciate all of you.
