Received the following from Pat Chapman a few minutes ago. =================================== Baby steps. But improving. By now can move everything but right side still very weak. He was able to grip a water bottle with the right hand yesterday Also more words. Stroke was in the language center However he is talking some. Words. To convey something. Speech therapist thinks it will come. He stood yesterday. With physical therapist help. and stood awhile. And a few shuffle baby steps to the chair and sat up a little. He seems to be totally aware and so far memory seems good. They may get him to a normal room today. Yes...both girls are here. So glad.and starting yesterday he can feed himself with the left hand.
