LOVELACE, Madeline McCreary, 78, of Tampa, passed Sunday, May 15, 2011. She is survived by her sister, Nancy Thomas; daughters and sons-in-law, Sheila and Jack Herndon and Susan and Mike Meadows; son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Syd Lovelace; grand-sons, Kevin, Sean and A.J.; ex-husband, Charlie Lovelace; and her companion, John Barker. A former graduate of Hillsborough High School, Madeline spent her entire life in Tampa doing the things she loved, dancing, floral arranging and being with her family and friends. She was a longtime member of St. Clements Episcopal Church. A graveside service took place on Wednesday, May 18, at Garden of Memories in Tampa, with a celebration of life immediately following at St. Clements Episcopal Church of Tampa, FL 33612. Donations may b e made in her memory to St. Clements Episcopal Church [Flower Fund].

            For those of you who didn't know Madeline, she was married to Charlie Lovelace at one time, and was a beautiful round dancer.  She was or is a member of Temple Twirlers in Tampa.  She hasn't danced for the past several years.
