Happy to report that Lila is doing great.  So far, the chemo is not making her sick.  She is upbeat and eating well.  She has not lost any weight.
 
Lila received a unit of blood on Sunday.   She may get another unit of blood later today. 
 
She is scheduled to have a spinal tap and a dose of chemo in her spinal column.  We don't know if she has any cancer cells in her spine, the hospital wants to be sure to find and treat all the cells.  The tap was scheduled from 11:00 this morning.  I left the hospital at 3:20, the tap is still scheduled for sometime today.
 
We think that Lila will be put in isolation tomorrow or the next day.  Not sure if I will be able to get into her room, or if I will have to wear a gown, mask and gloves to be in the room with her.
 
It appears that Lila will be in the hospital for at least 21 days.  If all goes well, she will get to come to the RV for 7 or 8 days and go back into the hospital for the second round of 21 day treatments.  After that we are hopeful that her treatments can be handled as "out patient", allowing her to spend more time with me in the RV or at the mobile home in Pharr.
