AlamoPA Mailing List: Update on Joe Cook

It’s me again, just wanted to let you know that Joe slept really good last nite, and they also, did dialysis, so he has settled down a lot from yesterday.  He has been sleeping most of the day, I just woke him up to feed him at noon and again tonight. So it is great that he is sleeping a lot, because yesterday we could not calm him down at all to sleep, so he probably went about 18 hours without sleep.  Anyway, his blood pressure is gradually getting better,

but I don’t know how long he will be in ICU, they have to leave him there until his blood pressure is stable.

Then they will move him up to his room, and they will start getting him up and walking him.  Two therapist

came in this afternoon, and started working with his legs, so they will be back tomorrow 2 or 3 times.

He was in a lot of pain, when they done that, it is going to be very painful and hard when they get him up because he has been laying so long. So he has a very painful road ahead of him for a while.

So I am just praying that every day that he keeps getting better.

I want to thank everybody for their prayers, and we really appreciate all of messages.  I probably will not

be sending an update again for a few days, I will definitely let you know when he gets out ICU, so again

thank you for all of your concerns and prayers.
