Joe done really well Thanksgiving Day, we had our daughter, Lisa and her family here, and Jessica & Drew, and our new little Great Grandson, Arlo Lee. Grandpa Joe really enjoys seeing little Arlo, and playing with him. Joe done really good on Friday, but then on Sat. & Sunday, he kind of dropped back in his giving up mood. Had another Hospice Group come and talk to us, they ask Joe what his wishes were, he said, “I want to walk again, or I don’t want to live like this.” So they told him, it was entirely up to him, that we are doing all we can. So the Occupational Therapist worked with him the next couple of weeks. They have got him in a more positive attitude again. He has been gradually doing better. Then, on the next Monday, the Physical Therapist started working with him 3 times a week. She is really good with him, so he has been slowly improving. Last week, he told the Nurse, that he had one month to learn to walk, so he can go to Texas. So at least, he has a lot more positive attitude than he has had for a long time. So the Physical Therapist is working with him 3 times a week for a few weeks. We just keep praying that he will keep his positive attitude, and will want to keep working hard, so he will be able to walk again soon. He has a bad day now and then, he loses his positive attitude, but usually the next day he wants to keep working hard to get better. Again, we want to thank everyone for all your prayers, phone calls, emails, cards, etc. Especially the prayers. Also, thanks for all the prayers, from our friends and family on Facebook. Please continue to pray for Joe, to keep his positive attitude & strength to walk again. Joe & I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year.
