BAD DAY

I guess it was my turn for something wrong.  Eye doctor discovered a hole in the retina in my left eye during a regular checkup and sent me on to a specialist is Mission in the afternoon.  He found the retina torn where it is separating from the vitreous gel and did a lazier procedure he hopes has it repaired.  I will see him again in two weeks (if no need before) to have the repair checked,  if not suitable will have another procedure done where they freeze the hole.  Somehow during being switched from room to room I lost my cell phone.  I will try again to recover it Monday morning, if not found will have to replace.  I have stopped all calls on it with Sprint.

Through all this Judy Owens was with me driving me where I needed to go, including the vets where we boarded Maggie for the day, as I didn't know what I would be in for.  I couldn't have got the care I needed without her and she tried and tried to help me trace the phone when I got home and discovered it missing.  I owe her a big debt of gratitude.  Maggie is home with me tonight, but not speaking to me.  Talk about a cranky pants!!   I'm thinking she didn't make a lot of new friends and she had to have an extra shot before being allowed to stay.

I'm pooped,  and as I had my eyes dilated  this morning an again this afternoon , when the first wasn't even worn off, not sure when the world will look normal.  I'm thankful the doctors caught the problem and were able to treat me so quickly, and greatly thankful for Judy (and Jim who spared her so soon after more surgery on his knee).  Guess the phone can be replaced, the numbers will be another thing, so guess no one will be getting calls until they call me again.  No need to try for a few days, you understand.

On a brighter note we are getting rain down here, things should be pretty and green when you all come.
