Hi All,
It is September 1st. already.  Where did the summer go?  It has been hot and humid up here like all the areas to the south.  We have been fighting the storm like a lot of people.  But, now it has cooled off to more like normal temperatures or should we say "more like fall".   There are many sighs that makes you think that fall is here.  We do not have any color leaves yet, but they are becoming more yellow.  The grass is still growing so it looks like I will have to mow at least one more time before it freezes and end the growth.  Then one more thing that makes it look like fall is that the deer fawns are loosing their spots and the adults are loosing their summer red and turning gray.  We still have the summer birds like gold finches and humming birds, so its not cold enough to make them leave.  I bet most of you are thinking about heading south or maybe at least planning for it.
Helen is still doing PT in Hayward but only twice a week.  That still makes a difference in her ability to get around on her own and to help out with some of the house chores.  That helps me with the days events.
I hope this finds everyone doing great,
Best to All,
Quentin
