Last Sunday morning Bill went home to be with the Lord.  I'm thankful to have been a part of his life.  Please help me spread the word about this.  Love, Jacque
Mykitta, Alvin William (Bill), 86, of Chattanooga Company.  passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 1, at the East Ridge Life Care Center.   Bill lived most of his life in Nashville, but lived in Chattanooga for the last 12 years.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard G. and Elizabeth Mykitta and his beloved wife Sarah Yates Mykitta.  For the last 26 years of his career he was the payroll supervisor for the City of Nashville and Davidson County.  Prior to that, he owned the Congress Inn and the Thompson Fruit Company.
Bill was the first college graduate in his family.  He loved dancing of all sorts, especially choreographed ballroom dancing, and flying his private airplane.  He was a 50-year member and former Worshipful Master of Cumberland Lodge #8 of the Masons.  Bill enjoyed traveling and was an excellent golfer and bridge player.  He attended Chattanooga Primitive Baptist Church.
