Good Evening - - -
Things were going pretty good with Kay coming out of the hospital
today but that was not the case.  She is doing a lot better and walking
stronger but the doctors wanted to do another X-ray or CT on the
stomach area.
Earlier today the surgeon came in and looked at the incision and he
was very please with the way it looked.  It seams like the wound pump
is not pumping anything out of the wound so he took Kay off it.  We
can not turn that thing in later next week if nothing happens between
now and then.  She was so happy that she could take a shower since
she did not have that wound pump hooked up.  I do believe everyone
on the hospital floor was happy about this also.  This could have  been
why she was not allowed on the second floor from her previous trip to
the hospital.  She will have to change the dressing on the wound twice
a day and use an ointment on it.  I do not believe that we will have
Health Care Services doing this.  Surely it cannot be all that hard to do?
She is eating a good  meal and I feel she is getting stronger.  Her biggest
problem is that she "Must Go - To Go"   and this is not happening.  She
did walk earlier tonight and receive a suppository hoping that will 
help.  If
that does not then she will receive another medication orally to help her
move he bowels.  Once this happens she should be able to be released.
There is not to much more to write about except that she is planning her
escape tomorrow one way or the other.  She is really planning on getting
out.  Her windows are locked shut so there is no ripping sheets making a
rope out of them and getting out that way.  She will also have to get by
the nurses station to get to the elevators.  There is no way that she would
try the stairs, but then that is hard to tell with Kay and her stubborn,
determined attitude.
Well, I better be going.  I think I have written enough for I know at least
one of you out there will tell Kay what I wrote.  Take care and hopefully
I can have Kay write the next message tomorrow night or Monday - -  Ski's
