Good morning everyone,

 

Shirley called about 2:30 yesterday afternoon to say that Don was in recovery after surgery.  I didn't ask when he went into surgery but the doctor told her that all went well and they would probably send him home that evening WITHOUT A CATHETER.  Can you imagine!

 

Don's doctors said that the burning procedure he had on Oct. 7th for his prostate cancer caused a lot of material to flake or sluff (sp) off.  He had a lot of this material in his bladder and some blocking his urethra.  They think the cleaning they did during surgery should take care of his problems.  We all sure hope so. 

 

Some of you may not know that Don & Shirley flew to Indianapolis on Wed. for an appointment with his doctor on Thurs.  Hope the next thing you hear is that they are both back in Harlingen and Don is back out on the dance floor.
