This has not been a good week for Lila.
 
Monday---finished the last round or chemo, we thought Lila was going to be release from the hospital.  Before they released her, they gave her a unit of platelets.  By 4:00 PM, she started running a fever, had a headache.  Decided to keep her another night.
 
Tuesday---Could not get Lila to answer her cell phone, went to the hospital at 8:30 AM.  Lila was out, I mean really OUT!!!  She had been complaining of hurting all over and a bad headache.  They gave her a pain shot of something at midnight and something else at 6:00 AM.  The 6:00 shot did not agree with her.  The doctors and nurses were afraid she was going to stop breathing.  We worked on her until about noon before the doctors decided she was going to be OK and let her sleep it off.  They did a CT scan of her head.
 
Wednesday---Bad night, bad day.  Fever almost 103 at times and blood pressure over 200/90 for short periods.  They kept pumping drugs into her and has both problems somewhat under control.  They gave her a unit of blood and platelets.  They did a CTscan of her chest.
 
Thursday---Another bad night and day.  Another dose of platelets.  More fever and high blood pressure.  Lila is very weak, does not want to eat and if she does eat, at least part of it will come back up.  They did a HIDA scan of her upper stomach to check her gall bladder, spleen, etc.  I talked to the doctor, all the scans have not showed any problem.  That was good news.
 
Friday---She had a little better night, was able to sleep most of night.  Her fever is still high as is her blood pressure, they are giving her meds to keep both problems some what under control.  She is able to be up and around some today.  Still very weak, does not want to eat, etc. Going to get another unit of blood this afternoon. 
 
Keep the prayers coming.  She needs all the help she can get.
