Good Morning - - -
BOB - - - This is Bob and I wanted to forward this to you from Harry & Iris Sprague. Would you please put this out on the reflector. I am sure there are a lot of dancers out there that know Bill and Miss Martha. I do believe that you do send this to Gene and that will have notifying the Dancers from that end of the country.
We are doing fine. Kay is in Austin spoiling a granddaughter and I am here in the Valley trying to catch up on things. I plan on leaving later this week to get Kay and go to Dallas for a meeting up there over the weekend and then it is back to the Valley until State Festival which Kay is Teaching and Cueing at.
Better be going. Need to get things accomplished before I leave and Kay gets back.
Take care - - - Ski's
This is from Harry - - (do not get confused with the Bob's)
Bob I talked to Kay this morning and she asked if I would forward this information about Bill Buck. He is in the Hospital in Shreveport.

Keep Bill and Martha in your prayers … Saw Bill and Martha this morning when I snuck into the hospital unnoticed and peeked in the door so I could give you a first hand account. Martha was headed to get more jammies and do some laundry. Don Corliss had stayed the night with Bill and Al Simpson is with him this morning.
Bill’s hooked up to some IVs and has a hospital internist, pulmonologist and assorted other physicians studying his condition. He looks just fine but has only spurts of energy and does not like the current plumbing arrangements. He is not contagious or anything and can see people but he tires very easily and does not need to be overrun by well wishers.
Dr. Maxwell told him he needs to do the breathing thingy 4x an hour and will get deep breathing treatments twice a day. Dr Maxwell and Schuler are presently treating him for pneumonia but more tests and a detailed CT scan have been done. Dr. Schuler does not believe the pneumonia diagnosis. Fungus, large cell aterialosis, small cell arterialosis, pneumonia, infection, or another condition are being ruled out one by one.
Many thanks from both Martha and Bill to all of you for your prayers. Many thanks for the Stinson s covering tonight’s square/round dance. Keep up the prayers for skilled and knowledgeable medical professionals and a bright outlook for Bill. Martha needs your prayers, too as she frets over her sweetie pie a lot. Hugs, Marti
From: Marti Butt [mailto: msbutt [at] comcast.net ] Sent: Friday, May 13, 2011 11:09 AM Subject: Friday update on Bill and Martha Martha’s update on Bill this morning … Keep them both in your prayers! Bill is still in Highland Hospital (Room 234) but he is much improved. His doctor changed his antibiotics yesterday afternoon after his temp went back up to 102.7. His white count is down and he is requiring less oxygen. The CT scan showed pneumonia in both lungs but he is looking much better and able to move around without getting completely exhausted. His UTI is gone now. I am home for a couple of hours to wash clothes and (myself) before returning. (Al is at the hospital with Bill.) Don Corliss has offered to stay with him tonight so I can come home and rest. He is not contagious so he can have visitors. As soon as he doesn't require oxygen and IV antibiotics he will be able to come home.
