Funeral services for
Allin Thomas Seely of Cumby will be conducted at
First Baptist Church of Cumby at 10:00 a.m.,
Tuesday, April 26, 2011. Interment will follow at
Cumby Cemetery, with Roy Reed, Tommy Fisher, Dave
Edwards, Rocky Tiffee, Larry Jenkins and Tom Jones
serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will
be Harold Wyatt and Charles Hornsby. Visitation
will be held at Cumby Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m.
to 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 25, 2011.
Allin Thomas Seely passed away Thursday
morning, April 21, 2011, at Commerce Hospital in
Commerce. He was born in Dallas on March 30, 1949,
the son of Edwin Seely and Elizabeth (Cox) Seely.
He married Melanie Burgess in Dallas on January 9,
1970; she survives. Mr. Seely was a structural
designer.
Other survivors include: two sons, Brian
(Renee) Seely and Brent (Kristina) Seely, all of
Cumby; two sisters, Betty Seely of Longview and
Terry Kendred of Desoto; four grandchildren,
Brittany Seely, Paige Seely, Joseph Seely and Erin
Seely. He was preceded in death by his parents and
one son, Aaron Seely. Memorials may be made to the
Scottish Rite Hospital
