First of all thanks to all of you for your concern and prayers during my
latest medical problem.  It was so nice knowing you were all pulling for
me.  I am recovering well from the operation to clean out the left
Carotid Artery which was 95 % blocked and almost certainly the cause of
my mini stroke.  The operation was done a week ago Saturday and they will
remove the 11 staples in my neck next Thursday.  It was so nice to be
able to come back to the Scott and White RV Park on Monday and have been
improving each day.  We hope to continue our travels on to Paris on
Friday or Saturday.  If the doctors do not clear me to drive my two
brothers will come down and drive the 5th wheel for me.  
 
We really appreciated a visit from the Ski's as they came by both on the
way to and from Waco and the State Square and Round Dance Convention.  
 
We continue to be amazed at how talented, throughall, caring and
efficient the staff and doctors here at Scott and White Hospital are. 
The X-Ray, CAT Scan and MRI did not find the problem but the MRA showed
the blockage.   Pat said it seemed like a nurse, doctor or student doctor
was in the room most of the time yet they let me sleep with a minimum of
interruptions.  
 
I hope to get access to email in the trailer tomorrow and will be back
online again without having to find a hot spot.
 
I will try my best to stay out of the hospitals for awhile but my stay
last December and this time makes me so proud to have so many round dance
friends interceding on my behalf along with other friends and a caring
family.

By the way Pat got an excellent report for her follow up cancer check up
which was why we stopped by here in the first place but the Lord chose
this time and place to take care of my problem as well.
