Thanks, Donna

It has been brought to our attention that many of you would like an update on our conditions.

Lynn had to have a defibrillator put in on Monday Dec. 8th as his heart is a prime candidate for cardiac arrest.  This all came about because of all the problems he had prior to and during the summer of 1997 with atrial fibrulation.  He is home resting, is tired and of course his shoulder is sore.  He has to wear his arm in a sling for at least a week and can't use it for much for a month until the lead into his heart is cemented in by the body.  That is why some of you have not seen him at the dance sessions this week.  The dr. says he can dance when classes resume in Jan. but he has to be gentle - maybe no jive or cha cha.

Donna got a nice Christmas present from her dr. as he decided that her chemotherapy can be put on hold for now.  My white count is low (until this is better my immune system is compromised and therefore I cannot be in crowds), but my anemia is better and the IgM protein number in my blood which indicates that I have Waldenstrom's is also coming down as well as my enlarged lymph nodes are smaller.   He feels that until I have more symptoms of the illness that we will hold off on more chemo.  This was great news as I will now not feel bad over the holidays.  A Merry Christmas to me and to all of you from us.

Hopefully we will see you in the New Year together as a couple.
