Hello, I want to update you on Don. He has had they say a mild heart attack. This happened (we think) on Monday evening. He had a doctors appointment Thursday and they ran several tests on him and sent him home. The doctor called us around 7:00pm that evening and said to get him to the emergency room. We had 12 guests for dinner and was going to play cards but everything changed. Our guests stayed and had dinner and I rushed Don to the hospital. Later that evening they transported him to Lafayette (St. Elizabeth). He is also loosing blood and they have given him 1 unit of blood and thought they would have to give him 2 more. His blood count is way down and they will not do anything with him until his blood count is where it's supposed to be. He had his stress test today and did not
pass it. They want him to rest and they are planning on doing an Angiogram on Monday. Once they get his heart arteries cleaned out (he has blockages but don't know how many) then they will do a scope & check his stomach. They think it could be a bleeding ulcer. He will be in the hospital until Tuesday or maybe longer. He is in room 4146 bed 2 at the St Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette, In. He is in good spirit and is ready to come home but they say NOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Please keep him in your prayers.  Love To You All

I just talked to Don Heiny. He is at home. Got home last night. He did have a mild heart attack with 70 % blockage in 1 and 85% in another. Because he also had a bleeding ulcer, they couldn't do anything about it. Couldn't thin his blood any more. He's on meds and a very strict diet. Shirley was having some discomfort in her chest and left arm while there with him. Don talked her into going to the emergency room, even though he couldn't go along. She did! They ran her through all kinds of tests and determined it was not her heart. She has acid reflex. She is also on strict diet and meds and feels much better. They were so glad to be home in their own bed last night. They both slept til 8:30 this morning. Don said he didn't want to get up even then!!! Their trip to Texas has been delayed for about 4 weeks.
   See you Friday.
Hugs
Nancy & Dwayne Baldwin
