 Dear Bob,

 

Things are going really well for Jim.  He had two therapy sessions (occupational and physical) this morning.  He is working on fine motor skills.  We were at Marianjoy Rehab center following his hospitalization--he only had to stay one week.  Most people stay  at least two weeks.  He walks without a walker.  He does use a walker in grocery stores or other shopping.  He still has to work some on balance but he is making progress.  The therapists are great. 

 

We sure missed being at Eureka Springs.  We have canceled Fontana in September also.  We should be able to come to Texas about the second week in January.  He needs more balance skills before we try dancing.

 

We do plan to go to our Lake home over the Labor Day Holiday.  Our son will be driving there.  (Jim won't be able to drive until the 2nd week in January.)
