Important Deadlines & Chapter Events


✅  EAA Holiday Shutdown — The EAA offices will be closed from December 21, 2024 through January 1, 2025 for the holidays. Staff will be unavailable to answer questions by phone or email during that time.

✅  Renew Your Chapter for 2025 — The time has come to renew your chapter’s charter and insurance for next year! Please have one of your officers complete the renewal form by December 31, 2024. Note that the chapter insurance cost has increased 2% from the previous year.

✅  Sign Up for a Chapter Leadership Academy! — Join us in Oshkosh for a two-day interactive workshop that will help you become a better chapter leader and provide valuable information that will improve your chapter.

✅ Ray Aviation Scholarship Chapter Applications Open — All EAA and divisional chapters in the United States and Canada can apply to administer a Ray Aviation Scholarship in 2025. The deadline to apply is January 31, 2025, for full scholarships, and December 31, 2024, for matching scholarships. Apply Now ›

✅ Chapter Recognition Extra Credit — Your chapter can boost its Chapter Recognition score for 2024 by submitting extra credit activities. All extra credit submissions will be reviewed by the EAA Chapters staff. This year, each chapter may receive up to three extra credit recognition points! Submit Now ›

✅  2025 EAA Volunteer of the Year and Dorothy Hilbert Award Nominations Open — Nominations are now open for the 2025 EAA Volunteer of the Year Award and Dorothy Hilbert Award. The Ray Aviation Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship program to help young people learn to fly.
