E.A.A. Chapter 493

February 16, 2016

7:00 p.m.

Joe’s Italian Ristorante

1601 S. Bryant Blvd.

San Angelo, Texas

 

At 7:00 p.m. President Marcum called the meeting to order.

 

Upon a motion by Andy Spinks and a second by Don Smucker

the minutes of the January 19, 2016 meeting were approved.

 

The treasurer reported a balance of $2,513.72.

A motion was made by Gerry Hatch to approve the treasurer’s report

and a second by Fred Jones. Motion carried.

 

The president introduced the guest.

Richard Holder, Daniel Vengen, FAA Aviation Safety Inspector, Lubbock, Texas and

William Fitzgerald, FAA Aviation Safety Inspector, Lubbock, Texas.

Mr. Vengen and Mr. Fitzgerald will present a program on (UAS) drones.

 

Old Business:

Moving the EAA meetings to the conference room at Mathis Field, will be discussed at a later date.

 

New Business:

Don Smucker reported he had filed the Secretary of State report and the 99ON.

 

Terri Mattingly was ask to canvass the members about the 2016 Christmas Party.

Location, date, gifts, food. She is to work with Bob Reece in hopes that more

members will be able to attend.

 

There being no further business, and upon a motion made by Larry Wedel and

a second by Don Baker the meeting adjourned at 8:32 p.m.
