EAA493 Mailing List: EAA Meeting last night

We had a very fun-filled meeting last night as a small group shared flying stories around the table.  Bob Reece brought a guest, Steve Mida, who owns three airplanes: A Piper Colt from 1960, and two Taylorcrafts, one of which is prewar.  Steve is looking for a Sport Pilot Instructor.  Unfortunately the Taylorcrafts are not flying yet so he is also looking for a sport plane to get his license in.  We suggested Pat Nuytten as an instructor and also pointed out that at last report, Skyline was rebuilding their Cessna 162 Skycatcher.  Bob Reece will soon have the Piper Colt flying and the Taylorcrafts are not far behind.  Bob would like everyone to spell his name without using an "S", we debated sending a telegram to Hawaii but decided that Joe wouldn't want to bother changing the reflector listing or wherever the wrong spelling is listed for Bob.  Robert R. Reece is also looking for a membership application for Steve Mida to fill out.  I haven't seen one in years.  If anyone has a membership application for Chapter 493 please send it to Bob and me.  Also, if you have a list of the people who have volunteered to bring refreshments this year please send that to me.
