EAA493 Mailing List: Coast to coast in a J-3

Just met this gentleman at the Eldorado airport.  He was tying the J-3 down
due to weather, and is going to RON in Eldorado.  He flies his J-3 from
coast to coast each year!!!  I told him that I wished he had come through
tomorrow, as I would have taken him to the EAA meeting.  He said that he
gives presentations to various flying groups and I told him I would let our
VP know.  He will be coming back through later in the year.

His website is www.vintageflying.com, and he has photos and a logbook.  The
logbook is really just a one way blog, and he talks about each days trip in
it.  I could only get a few pictures to load for some reason.
