I'm posting this email from Nancy York to make sure everyone has seen it. Note the invitation to stop by Leon & Joyce's home after the service.

"Gerry, Just sent to EAA, so youâll get both.  Please come by afterwards! Love, Nancy

Tears in my eyes that yâall are interested in honoring my dad this way.  Heâd be thrilled, as well as embarrassed that anyone went to any trouble on his behalf. No doubt heâll be helping with the formation flying.  The service at graveside is at 3 pm at Fairmount, on Avenue N. I think it will last 30 minutes or so, and will be a celebration, with some neat music.

Coordinates at graveside, according to my GPS, are N 31 26.459â
                                                                                    W 100 26.902â
Elevation there is 1897â.
Weather looks good.
When all is said and done, will you please send me a list of who flew and rode along?  Iâd love to have that.
Visitation is tomorrow all day, but not sure when we will be there.

*After the service we will be gathering for a bit at Momâs, 2707 Briargrove Lane, and you all are welcome to come by.  Might be a few stories told....

Many thanks to you all."

There have been many good ideas about how to conduct the flight all of which are being integrated into a plan. However, we need one person to be the decision maker and leader. I believe that Don Smucker who is likely to be the first plane in the fly-over and a resident of Ducote (the staging point) should be that person.  Also, Don S's plane is about the mid-range of flight speeds which also makes the Stinson a good choice. He will be capable of doing noticed pull up (in the 115mph range) as the missing man representation.

Gerry

Also, Joe C would you be able to record and map our flight path in a form that we could give to Nancy, similar to what you did for the GTAT trip to Monument Valley?
