Hi Everybody,

 

We have some really sad news. Joe is kind of at a level where he is not able to progress, at this time.  The Mercy Home Therapy ended last Thurs. Dec. 31st., because if the patient does not keep progressing, they are not able to continue therapy.

 

We have had another meeting with Hospice, and these are Joe’s wishes. He will continue dialysis thru Jan. 24th.  Once dialysis has stopped, we don’t know how long it will be before his body will shut down. It could be a week or two, or more, nobody knows. Everybody’s body is different. So we don’t know that.

 

So our family is trying to prepare for that, whenever it happens.

 

At this time, I would like to thank everyone for all their prayers, phone calls, emails, cards, etc.

 

We also would like to invite anyone that would like to see Joe, you are welcome to give me a call and let me know,

so we can make arrangements to do so, or if you would like to call him and talk to him, we could make arrangements to do that also.

 

We do suggest that if you would like to stop by and see Joe, it would be better to do it before Jan. 24th.

 

If you don’t have my phone number, or don’t know anyone that does, you can messenger me on my phone.
