My mom, Helen Faber, would like to give each and everyone of you a heartfelt thank you for your calls, cards and notes on FB (that I read to her) for her birthday.  It certainly made her day.  She wants you to know she is doing well.  This summer she has enjoyed working in her garden, she goes to cardiac rehab for exercise, and she enjoys coming to the lake and being with family.

What mom has not enjoyed is the isolation and social distancing due to Covid.  She worries that we will not make it back down to the valley this winter.  

She wanted me to attach pictures of her garden...I've tried and been successful with only one picture which was taken earlier this year.  Her cabbages are so solid and heavy that she can hardly lift them.  Her tomato plants are now as tall as she is.  I have certainly enjoyed eating what she has produced.
