  Obituary of John Shipley SrJohn Bert Shipley Sr, 78, of Alamo, Tx, passed Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Amara Hospice home. Mr. Shipley has chosen to donate his body to ScieneCare Anatomical for the research of cancer. Mr. Shipley was born June 8,1939 in Princeville IL, and has lived in Alamo, TX for the past 30 years. Mr. Shipley is survived by his wife Marge Web Shipley, one brother, one sister, two daughters, one son, two step-daughters, one step-son, and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Amara Hospice of Edinburgh TX.
