Good Morning to All, I hope this finds everyone doing great. We are doing OK but Helen is still in PT a couple days a week. That means we get a change to see the fall colors along the road to Hayward. It is just starting to change across the lake with only some tree tops showing color. It is the same around our yard. With the wind a few leaves are falling which makes it look like fall is really here. Now with October first tomorrow it is the start of fall. We have not had frost here at the lake but areas away from the lake has had frost. A flock of geese showed up and came up on the shore, but I don't know if they were the ones that hatched little one here this summer or others are starting to move south. With most of the summer birds gone it is just winter birds here. So now I will just be feeding sunflower seeds and suet. We still have deer coming in, but I have not seen any big bucks yet. When the does come into season, the big bucks come in and take over. I guess that happens so there is not inbreeding from the young buck borns here. Mother Nature takes care of those things. Helen is doing OK and getting a little stronger all the time. She can do most thing on her own with a little assistance from me. We walk out the mailbox when the weather permits. We have to go to the Dr's today so walking will not happen today. Then there is rain forecasted for the end of the week so walking is limited this week. Hope to see everyone in about a month. Time will tell!! Best to All, Quentin |
