Hi from Joe & Clara Cook,  in Center Point, IA.

 

Hope everybody had a great 4th of July, we sure did and the weather was perfect, about 80 degrees, couldn’t have

been a nicer day.  Went to the big parade in Troy Mills, IA.  That is where Joe graduated from, was a great parade, and saw a lot of old friends.

We are doing fine, dancing as much as we can. 

 

I just wanted to let everybody know, I talked to Jerry Bovy, he had his hip surgery June 27th, was supposed to of had it the 25th, but had to

wait for parts.  So it was June 27th, and it turned out to be very extensive surgery and was very painful, because of the break he had last

winter, they should have repaired it back last fall.  Anyway, he is doing good, he is in rehab for 6 weeks, then they will check it to see how

it is doing.  So I will keep you posted, when I hear more.

 

Dennis, glad to hear that your heart surgery is over and you are doing good. 

Quentin and Cookie- Cookie, you are such a miracle, so glad you are back home and getting better every day. Sure will be looking

forward to seeing you back in Texas this winter.

 

Hope everybody else is doing fine.  It is hard to believe 2013 is half gone already, it will soon be time to think about going back to our

winter home in Alamo Paradise.
