Good Afternoon Derrell - - -

 

 

We are not teaching anymore in the Valley.  We

left the Valley to resettle in the Beautiful, but very

dry right now, Hill Country of Texas.  We are doing 

a Round Dance Program here in the Liberty Hill

area.  We are planning on adding a few more sessions

this winter for we have been notified that we are

having two couples right now planning on staying 

here in the Austin area for Round Dancing. 

 

There is Round Dancing going on it the Valley and I

know of at least three cuers there.  They are Nancy

Baldwin, Christi Lake and Ron Wolcock.  The 

program they are running will be from Pharr to Alamo.

I do not know about the Harlingen Area. 

 

As you can see I am sending this to Bob & Carol 

Heiser.  They are the ones that will put out a Round

Dance schedule of what is going on in the Valley. 

You might want to contact them or Bob you can contact

Derrell. 

 

All I can say is we had a great time in the Valley and we

do miss it.  We are hearing of more and more dancers

returning to the Valley after a few years in Mesa.  I 

know of two right now and there are quite a few that 

never left because of the Valley being the Valley. 

 

Do we miss it - heck yes, but like the old saying goes,

"Once you leave home you can never go back to it

being the same".

Hi Kay,

     Got a question:  I have been spending the winters in Arizona for the last 10 years and they had a website where all the curers advertised their classes.  I remember doing a class with ya'll down in the area of Mission, Tx. several years ago and I'm thinking about going there this year.  So, are you still teaching down there, or do you know the website where I can find information on round dance classes?
