Just wanted to let you know
that we heard that
Gord Whitson was having
surgery tomorrow to
remove a 2 cm cancerous spot
on his lung.
The surgery is being planned
as laposcopic with
two small incisions to remove
1/2 of the third lob
of his lung. The procedure
will or should last about
4 hours.
