Virginia called me tonight to tell me
that Cleburne had passed away yesterday. They were round dance
teachers in Harlingen. We met them in 2003 when they came to
Pharr to dance with the Skis in the summer. He was 95. They
had been married for 72 years and he served in the Navy in
WWII. We used to get together for lunch about once a month
until Covid.
