While we were out and about I received a text message that I was not aware of until we got home.  The text message was from Leona Luccia and said:

 

“Frank passed away this morning”

 

After the shock, Kay called Leona and asked what happened.  Kay was told that Frank got up feeling fine, ate breakfast, and want back and shave.  He was in the shower, let out a yell, and Leona ran back there and found him on the shower floor and called 911.  The medics worked on him quite a while to no avail.  EMS  said it was a massive heart attack, the same way his father went.   

 

Leona told Kay that the children have been notified and are on the way.  She told Kay that as of now no one else has been notified and requested that we notify the dancers community.  She has requested that people do not come to the house and she did not want to receive phone calls at this time.  She told us she would notify us once she and the children make the funeral arrangements.  As soon as we hear something we will let you know.  If you want you can always call us at 956.781.8453 or Kay’s cell at 956.460.7520.   Please help us pass this on to the dancing community for I know that I do not have a lot of the email address of the dancers in the Austin Area.  Thank You

All we can add at this time is to keep the family in your prayers and thoughts and to honor her request.
