Saturday morning at 9 a.m. in conjunction with
Wreaths Across America, Christmas wreaths will be placed on
the Veterans graves at the Rio Grande State Veterans Cemetary,
2520 Inspiration Road, Mission, TX 78572 This is a program that has gone nation wide. They are looking for any and all volunteers to help place these wreaths on our veterans' grave sites. The weather is suppose to cooperate and all are welcome to come and help honor our Nation's veterans. Please ask your neighbors and friends to come and spend an hour or so with us at the State Veterans' Cemetary. Hopefully you can find the time to honor those who served our great country. Wouldn't it be wonderful to see all the square and round dancers in the valley there to help. We all know someone who served. Directions: Take Expressway 83 West to the Los Ebanos exit and head south Los Ebanos Road. Turn left in .6 miles. Turn right onto S Mile Road. Turn Left onto South Inspiration Road and go 1.4 miles.
