With a heavy heart we are having to forward this note to you. We want to let you know that we have not had any luck in securing hall times at the Edinburg Wellness Center. After numerous appointments, and telephone calls, to the gentleman who is in charge of the dance portion of the facility, we still have not been able to confirm or deny our use of the facility. Without more hall time we feel we cannot efficiently do a complete program to satisfy everyone. Also complicating our decision is the sudden sale of our house in Pharr South.

 

WE felt it was our obligation to personally notify the Activity Directors, of the parks that we still have hall time in, about our decision to conclude our Round Dance Program as of Tuesday the 4th January. We did not want them to receive the word through the “Grapevine”. This was done earlier this morning, 31 December.

 

We asked for use of the hall on Saturday the 2^nd of January, at Tip O Texas and on Sunday the 3^rd of January, at Pharr South. Both of the Activity Directors have given us permission to use the facilities. We will have our regular dance on Saturday and the on Sunday we will have a “Sunday Afternoon Delight - Farewell Dance” at Pharr South. Guys, we are not going far and we are not retiring, we are just going into a new chapter of our lives. You can almost bet on seeing us again in the Valley (as dancers??!!) or somewhere on the dance floor.

 

We are sorry this has happened the way it did, but a lot of this was beyond our control. We are leaving with 25 wonderful years of memories. Please stop by Liberty Hill Texas on your way in or out of the valley for a visit. Our phone number has not change! Our door is always open with the guest room or the RV site ready.
