This is my
E-Mail. I had a Cardiac Cath procedure yesterday in preparation
for a Mitral Valve replacement after we returned from Texas in
February. Unfortunately, the results of the Cardiac Cath
procedure revealed that I have blockages. There are 2 blockages
in a centraflex artery and a 95% blockage in a diagonal branch
LAD. Not completely sure what the LAD is but, it is nearly
blocked nevertheless. Currently, I am awaiting a call from the
Cardiac Surgeon at Vanderbilt to see when surgery can be
scheduled. Leona thinks that this may prevent us from coming to
the Valley and maybe she is more realistic about the situation.
I have not given up on the trip yet because the cardiologist
said if the surgery can be scheduled quickly, I can be "up and
at 'em" by Christmas. Anything for dancing, right?!?!?!
Just wanted
to let you know my situation and to let you know that the Valley
trip may be in jeopardy.
I will keep
you updated as I get more information.
