Just another quick note on how Kay is doing.  She was doing real good today and the

IV tubes were removed and medications were taken by mouth.  Earlier this afternoon

she had an upset stomach and it all came up.  So, hook up an IV and start the fluids

and meds that way. 

 

In the early afternoon the Dr K came in and checked her out and pretty well gave the

OK for her to leave or be discharged tomorrow.  We do not know when she will be

released but if it is early we could be starting back to the Valley tomorrow.  This will

depend on the time she is released and the condition of the roads tomorrow.  I went

out this afternoon around 2 PM and there must of been a 1/4 in ice on the windshield

of the van.  Of course, being from the Valley we all carry Ice Scrappers in our vehicles.

After a good warm up the ice was gone and I was able to get to the gas station to gas

up and stop at the grocery store.  Naturally I did not bring gloves with me.  I think I have

them packed for our next trip to Europe.  Anyway, the weather is to break tomorrow and

if so we will be leaving is we can get out early enough.  I do not know yet if we will stop

for the night on the way home.  This all depends on Kay and how she is doing. Again,

I do not know what the doctor will do with her upset stomach and vomiting this afternoon.

Things are subject to change ! ! ! !

 

Outside of that everything seams to be going OK.  Her stints were removed yesterday while

I was in the room and she will have her drainage tube for the stomach remove just before she

is released.  

 

I started bringing some of her stuff to the room this evening and packed some of the suitcases

that we brought with us.  Have them loaded and ready to go.  This was all stuff that I feel that

we will not need for the next few night.  Just extra stuff we brought with us.
