Good Evening - - - -
Before I start I want to say I did not do an up-date on Kay last night.  
There really was
not all that much to report on.  I have not forgot about ya 'al - - -
Saturday was a good day for Kay.  She is walking quite a bit and at 
times really moves
around the nurse's station and then at time she slows down quite a 
bit.  Overall though
she is doing great in my opinion.
Yesterday, Saturday, she was placed on a soft food diet.  For supper she 
had watered
down "Cream of Wheat".  No need for milk on that one.  She has been 
given the green
light for diary products and on the menu she does have the options for 
Ice Cream and/or
Milk Shakes & Floats.  She can also have sodas.  Surprises me to.
Tonight she had Cream of Chicken Puree Soup and Tapioca. Still 
soft foods for the time
being.  She is eating when-ever she wants and can order what-ever.  
Anytime between
like 6 AM to 9 PM.  Just pick up the phone and call.
He biggest problem is that she has failed to "toot".  Earlier this 
evening the nurse did give
her sometime to maybe speed up the process.  If this does not work by 
morning the nurse
was talking of giving her prune juice.  She was in some pain this 
afternoon from the gas build
up in her system but the happy pill eliminated that.  She is burping OK 
but just not tooting.
I did offer to bring in the juice from the beans from the Mexican 
Restaurant last night but the
nurse did not think that would be all that appetizing.
Last night was the high-light of her day when everyone or those at the 
dance called her.  She
was so happy and the grin was unbelievable.  Thank you for taking the 
time to do this.  She
has receive numerous calls and it does brighten her up and I appreciate 
them.
Well, I guess I better be going.  Take care and have a great up-coming
