Good Evening - - -

Just a quick update on Kay.  She reported to the hospital at 6 AM this morning and was
wheeled into surgery around at 8 AM.  The surgery started at 9:15 and was completed at
1:49 PM.  She was finally taken to a room at around 7:30 this evening.  She was not using
the pain pump and her heartbeat went way up so the doctor had to give her another pain
shot to ease the pain and bring the heartbeat down.  She finally stabilized at was able to
go to her room.  Her room number is P917 in the Main Building.

The doctors gave me and one of the kids that was with me nothing but good reports.  Dr K
removed the lymph nodes around the bladder and everything looked good with no signs of
the cancer spreading.  The doctor did remove some tissue from the area to check for any
signs of cancer for further pathology test.  We should get the results in 4 weeks.  One thing
doctor did tell me that she would have to get up and start walking.  He was planning on her
sitting up and walking a little in her room tonight but with extra shot of pain medicine that is
not going to happen.  The other doctor that sewed her up also gave us good reports.

It was a long day for us and one thing that really impressed both the kids and me was in
every two hours one of the nurses would come out and give us an update on how things were
going.  It was really nice to have that information instead of sitting there and worrying about
how things were going.

I plan on taking her cell phone to her tomorrow morning and leaving it with her if she is able to
take calls.  I will also take the nook and tablet.  If you want you can call her on her cell phone
at  956.460.7520.  If she is not able to take any calls I will hold the phone until she is able to.
If you do call her tell her to get her b--- out of bed and start walking while you are talking to her.
She needs to walk - Doctors orders and that is not me saying this.

Well, I am ready to call it a day.  I will send something out tomorrow on how she is doing.
Hopefully the doctors will take out the tube going through the nose to the stomach.  On Friday
the are hoping to take the drain tube from the where the operation took place.  This is to
remove any fluids that might be collecting in the lower stomach.

Take care and thank you all for your kind words and prayers - - - Ski's
