Good Evening                   Tuesday Evening -  8:30 PM 

 

First of all we want to let everyone know that we are canceling Thursday Nights

Carousel Club Dance here at Pharr South.  

 

I was up at the hospital this morning and so far we have yet to received any

of the test results from the day before.  I guess no news is good news.  The

doctors still have Kay on antibiotics and on an IV drip.  Talking to a nurse this

morning both Kay and I got the impression that she will be in the hospital

for another two days.  The nurse could not commit for sure on this for it

would be a doctors call, but she felt that Kay was going to be in there

another few days.  

 

She was given a soft lunch today and the stomach cramps and diarrhea

came back.  She is drinking more fluids but is still having trouble with the

solid foods.  When I left tonight she was served mash potatoes, cooked

carrots, and shredded beef.  She did eat some of the carrots and all the

potatoes.  She did not care for the beef.  

 

Her blood pressure was coming up this afternoon and it was 105 over 65.

And it was a Cat Scan that they did last night. My mistake

 

If you want you can call her on her cell phone.  You can reach her at 

956.4460.7520.  If you do not reach her at first try, try again, because she

could be on the phone with someone else or on the potty. 

 

I cannot think of anything else right now so I will go.  Thank you for all

you notes of concern and prayers.  We both appreciate it.  So till I

have something more to report I will leave you for the night.
