Please keep Judy Moore in your prayers.  As you know, she has had to cut back on their schedule and to continue take care of herself.  This has been another set back.  Joanne  ( Read Below)

On February 8th Judy had a severe stroke in the left frontal cortex and was in the hospital up until yesterday. She was paralyzed on her right side and lost all her speech. She has since recovered most of the right side function even thought it is still much weaker; however, she is still unable to speak. The prognosis is that she will probably regain almost all her physical ability on the right side but recovering her speech will take up to a year . . . and the degree that will be recovered is still unknown.

She was and continues to be on blood thinners to prevent strokes (this was her 7th and most severe) but had been taken off them for some eye surgery. She still goes into atrial fibrillation frequently (the underlying problem behind the strokes) and did so and formed a clot the day after the surgery. Even when no clots are formed she loses all energy when the A-Fib strikes. This is an issue that is still seeking a solution.

We are hopeful to resume our club activities soon not only to serve those of you who come but help Judy regain strength and the social interaction will booster her spirits and may help the speech problem as well.

We will be posting a schedule as soon as Judy is strong enough to participate.
