This has been a slow week for Lila. She had a blood test and review
on Monday. Everything looked good. She had a fairly good week. She
is weak and needs a nap most afternoons, but that goes for most of us
retirees. I usually take the time for a afternoon nap
also.
On Wednesday she had a blood test, test review and a sonogram on her gall bladder. She has been having some pain that she and the doctor thinks is coming from the gall bladder. From some of the stuff we read as she started the chemo treatments said that the chemo could cause problems with the gall bladder. So far, we have not received any sort of report of the results of this sonogram. Maybe sometime this week. The pain has somewhat went away later this week. Hopefully she will not need any further treatment for the gall bladder, if that is what has been hurting her. Lila has a blood test and appointment with the stem cell doctor tomorrow (Monday). Perhaps we will know when the stem cell transplant will get started. Lila has also had some problems swallowing her pills and sometimes food. She has an appointment with a stomach doctor this Tuesday. We are hoping for a good report on this problem. Lila's son and grand daughter from Topeka, KS came down for a short visit this weekend. They were here Friday night and Saturday. She enjoyed the time with her family. More later, Bob =========================== |
