I spoke with Henry and he says that Jan has been taken out of ICU and is now in a semi-private room.   She remembers a little about the accident but she is still in a lot of pain.  Along with the cracked ribs she is bruised from the seat belt.  If you would like to send her a cherry note or card it can be sent to her house and her kids will pick up the mail and take it to her.  Her address is:  Jan Smith,  625 19th St. NW #301, Rochester MN 55901.
