I just received word from Jerry & Louise Engelking that Shirley Arnwine of Lubbock, Tx passed away last night in her sleep.   Will send more when I get it.

Yes, Shirley and Bill Arnwine were Round Dancers and teachers in Lubbock, Tx for many years, until health problems curtailed their dancing.  Jerry & Louise Engelking took over their clubs.

 

The family is contacting people over the phone,  They have called Irv & Betty Easterday, Jerry & Louise Engelking, and probably some others, and those people were asked to spread the word. 

 

They are well known in the Round Dance community, although mostly from Texas East.  They used to go to the Palmquist Palm Springs dance, and I believe even went to Mesa a few times for Starfest or the like.

We got some bad news today.  Shirley Arnwine from Lubbock passed away during the night.  No one knows the cause but a diabetes low is suspected.  She was having lots of problems with her diabetes.  No other information is available.
