Several of you have asked how you can donate to the round dancers who have volunteered to go bald to raise money to find cures for childhood cancer as part of our St. Baldricks Head Shaving Event.  The event will be held starting at 2:00 PM on February 22, 2009 at the Texas Trails RV Resort located at 501 Owassa Rd. in Pharr, TX.

Thus far there are three round dancers who have volunteered to have their locks clipped.  Donating online using a credit card is the preferred way as it keeps the accounting time at a minimum.

If you prefer to send a check for your donation follow the directions on each individuals web page to download a donation form and then mail it in to the address shown.

Then again you can ask the shavee for a donation form and complete it and give it to them to mail.

If you are in the valley and have not bought your ticket to the Bernie and Red Cancer Benefit show being help at Texas Trails RV Resort starting at 2:00 PM on Wednesday February 4 please do so soon.  This will be a fun way to support our effort to raise money for childhood cancer research since they are donating all their proceeds to St. Baldricks.  Tickets are for sale at all seven Wilder RV Resorts as well as from Lee Dexter, The Ski's, and Wayne Chapman.  Their shows often sell out so see or email Lee to reserve your tickets.  His email address is ldexter16 [at] hotmail.com and telephone number is  956-283-8354
