Information:
September 24, 2008
To Our RDTA
Family,
We have all lost a teacher/cuer and
friend.
At our last meeting, September 14, 2008,
Bob Benjamin was complaining of headaches he'd been having for the previous two
weeks, headaches doctors were unable to stop.
Bob left after the meeting and about a half
hour later Bob Silvia had a call from him saying he needed help getting to a
hospital. Bob Silvia left immediately to help however he could.
Bob Benjamin was taken to two hospitals
after an urgent care center and ended up at the Western
Medical Center in Tustin. The urgent
care center and the first hospital could not handle Bob's problem.
He was diagnosed as having a blood clot in
his head and an operation was performed.
Ten days after the operations Bob had not
responded. It was decided by his family and the doctors to remove the life
support equipment used to sustain his life.
Bob Benjamin died on Tuesday, September 23,
2008 in the early afternoon.
An arrangement of a memorial service will
be forthcoming. Bob is survived by his son Rob, daughters Monica and Nicole, his
former wife Donna and 3 grandchildren.
We will miss you Bob.
