Many of you have asked if we have heard from George since he went to Canada.  Well we got this email from him today and since he says spread the word to his round dance friends I will use this means to do so.

Dear Pat and Wayne,

 

Thanks for your nice note.  Isn't it great to hear nice things about Americans from someone outside the country?

 

I am having a wonderful time in Toronto with Julie and her family.  As you know, I flew up on January 10th to help with packing and the move to their newly purchased home.  Since then, we have been unpacking and getting the new place in order.  I think I have been an asset; at least, Julie keeps telling me I have.  I also enjoy helping to babysit my almost three-year-old granddaughter, Elora.  She is as bright as a penny and full of energy.

 

The temperature here has rarely risen above freezing, and we have had one major snowfall, as well as numerous lighter ones.  The ground is white and will be so for some time to come.

 

I'm glad to hear that you are staying busy with dancing.  I really look forward to returning next fall, since I do enjoy the activity AND all the wonderful friends in the valley.

 

I will return to San Antonio on March 29th, unless I wear out my welcome sooner.  This has been a good place for me to be at this time.

 

Please spread the word that I am doing fine and look forward to renewing acquaintances next fall, if not before.  Please stay in touch.
