Stephen now has an electronic wheelchair. He is able to operate the joy
stick with his left thumb and forefinger. He seems so HAPPY! Grandma thinks
there are two reasons for this; he can get out of his room to see other things
besides his room, and also he has a choice to make about something. Making
choices was abruptly taken away with the accident. It also shows us that he is
able to use a thinking process to be able to drive the wheelchair so his brain
is working! Our biggest fear was brain damage. Stephen does not talk yet and
cannot move his right side, but we ask that you keep him in your prayers that
his brain is still in the healing process and he will progress. Thank you so
much for being a part of our world in helping Stephen.
